A company that bears the name of its first product
Elisir D S.R.L.S. was founded in Meda, in Brianza, around a simple idea: supplements with pharmaceutical-grade raw materials, a quality lipid carrier and formulas built on science.
The origin
It all began with Elisir D: vitamin D3 and turmeric in organic extra virgin olive oil from Capo Farfa. It was the product that convinced Edoardo Colombo and Dr Leonardo Scanzano that something different could be done — and from that bottle the range was born: the K2 that accompanies D3, the magnesium that activates it, collagen, omega 3, and the specialised products for the gut, the respiratory tract and the body's defences.

He develops and produces the Elisir D formulas in his own laboratory, authorised by the Italian Ministry of Health. Over twenty years of experience in galenic compounding and nutraceuticals: from the selection of raw materials to the finished product, every stage takes place in the same laboratory, under his direct supervision.

Founder
He founded Elisir D with a precise mission: supplements that really work, formulated by genuine experts, with ingredients chosen by science and not by marketing. He works with Dr Scanzano on defining the formulas and choosing the ingredients, and is the author of the book “Vitamina D — l'elisir per vivere in salute”.
The laboratory
The production laboratory is based in Rome and is authorised by the Italian Ministry of Health — Aut. CE IT AIP 120 46 — for the contract production and packaging of powders, tablets and capsules. It is not a voluntary certification: it is a mandatory authorisation issued by the Italian State, which guarantees pharmaceutical standards at every stage, from raw material to finished product.

Where the raw materials come from
Organic extra virgin olive oil from Capo Farfa
A small Italian farm: cold pressing of its own olives, organic cultivation, oil traceable right back to the field. It is the carrier for the range's fat-soluble vitamins (D3, K2, A, E).
Vitamin K2 MK7 from Kappa Bioscience
The K2 in Elisir K2 comes from the Norwegian company Kappa Bioscience (K2VITAL® brand): all-trans form, obtained through a controlled synthesis starting from geraniol and farnesol, compounds extracted from flowers.
Clean formulas
Where the format allows, no silicon dioxide (E551), no titanium dioxide, colourings or preservatives; vegetable capsules, including rice-starch ones.
LisoPharma
The range's brand dedicated to lysozyme, the enzyme discovered by Fleming in 1922, delivered in orodispersible tablets made from pure egg white.
