Elisir D: vitamin D3 and turmeric, in organic extra virgin olive oil
Vitamin D3 and curcumin are fat-soluble: that is why Elisir D delivers them in drops of oil, not in a capsule. The oil is the organic, cold-pressed oil from Capo Farfa. Turmeric is not a secondary ingredient: it makes cells more receptive to D3.

The laboratory
Formulated by a pharmacist, produced in an authorised laboratory
Every formula is born in the laboratory of Dr Leonardo Scanzano, a compounding pharmacist in Rome with over twenty years of galenic and nutraceutical compounding. Every raw material is selected, analysed and processed in the same laboratory, under his supervision. Edoardo Colombo, founder of Elisir D, works with him on defining the formulas and choosing the ingredients.
Laboratory authorised by the Italian Ministry of Health (Aut. CE IT AIP 120 46) for the production and packaging of powders, tablets and capsules: a mandatory authorisation issued by the State, not a voluntary certification.

Selection of raw materials
Every ingredient is chosen from certified suppliers, with purity analyses and compliance with pharmaceutical standards.

Controlled storage
Raw materials are stored at controlled temperature and humidity, to preserve their integrity and efficacy.

Production in the laboratory
Formulation takes place entirely in the laboratory, with validated and traceable procedures, under the direct supervision of Dr Scanzano.

The product is packaged in the same laboratory, with quality checks on the final batch before distribution.
