How it works
K2 MK7 plus seven cofactors, in one capsule
Buying K2 alone is not enough: to exert its action, K2 needs specific cofactors. Elisir VitaMineral brings them together in the same capsule, in the most studied form of K2 — MK7, which remains active for over 72 hours compared with the 2–3 hours of the MK4 form.
K2 decides where calcium goes
It activates osteocalcin, which binds calcium into the bones, and Matrix Gla Protein, which removes it from the arterial walls. It also has a documented action on pro-inflammatory cytokines in the joints.
Magnesium, boron and zinc: the bone trio
Without magnesium, D3 cannot be converted into its active form; 60% of the body's magnesium is in the bones. Boron reduces the urinary excretion of calcium and magnesium. Zinc is essential for bone and cartilage collagen and for alkaline phosphatase, the enzyme that mineralises bone.
Vitamins C, E, A and selenium: the shield for the joints
Vitamin C is the cofactor of the enzymes that form cartilage collagen. Vitamin E protects the membranes of the cartilage and the synovial membrane. Vitamin A regulates the balance between bone formation and resorption. Selenium fuels glutathione peroxidase, the main antioxidant enzyme in cartilage tissue.
The synergy with vitamin D3

Is it useful if I already take vitamin D3?
It was designed for this too: D3 gets calcium absorbed, K2 directs it to the bones, magnesium activates D3. Without these cofactors, part of your D3 supplementation goes unused.
Why a 90-day cycle?
Because a complete bone mineralisation cycle takes that long, and the benefits of K2 MK7 need a full cycle to express themselves fully.
